who had Peter turning into Batman on their bingo card?
Nostr's target market is people who love talking to themselves
can you build a mesh network to somewhere where VPN and Tor are not illegal?
Anyone raising kids these days has it hard as fuck. Used to be grandparents, uncles, aunts all in close proximity, kids had lots of cousins to play with, maybe mom stayed at home. I'm the only one of my siblings to have kids.
Who's this?
Haven't yet. Probably around 9? Will try to hold out as long as I can or until it makes some sense. Considering only allowing use in public spaces at home, probably no phone at school. An hour time limit sounds reasonable.

I imagine my daughter might be doing after school activities she can go to by herself, sleepovers with girlfriends. Mostly thinking it would be for status updates or for her to call us if she needed something or in case of emergency. There's also the peer aspect, I figure a lot in her cohort will probably have a phone by that age. Definitely leery of the risk of her getting sucked into social media though.
tan people look healthier because they are
true. looking forward to the rise of decentralized justice though. I imagine the West with a cypherpunk twist. they used to just hang evil people.
The problem with a physical (postal) remailer service is that there's no way to prove that the final (recipient's) address is not retained. You have to trust the operator. What about a dead drop forwarding service? No final address needed. Your package is hidden in a bush or taped to the underside of a table in a public park and the coordinates +/- instructions are sent to you. The only downside is that the service needs operatives near the recipient, so when starting out it will likely service a limited area. Operatives would be paid a modest amount of KYC free sats per package, could even be a "gig" like Uber or DoorDash. Target market is people who occasionally receive packages who would rather pay a one time fee vs opening their own PO box, and people who want more privacy than a PO box provides (typically opening a PO box requires doxxing yourself). Anyone living in a dense population center interested dead dropping packages? How many sats per package would make it worth your while? Alternatively, does this service sound appealing to use as an end user? Bonus is while you might just be ordering a t shirt with a bitcoin meme on it, you get to feel like a super spy!
when bitcoin ushers in a new era of prosperity, people won't need to resort to sick shit to make money... or something. I hope.
