Ya, I already stepped away for the most part. It began slowly probably 6+ months ago and then past 3 months I haven't spent any time at all here really. And ya, Nostr is totally valuable as something to exist and be something that can be called upon or used for certain reasons. And also ya, it hasn't given any value to me as there just aren't people here and this is social media lol. So yes, I basically agree with all u said.

Check out what I just posted. I think you are seriously underestimating the amount of freedom maximalist type people who still have left for the most part. There is no reason to be somewhere to own an identity and be censorship resistance if there is nothing actually going on and no interactions or things you are interested in and talk about here... That is to say that people always say those same 2 things but they mean nothing in and of themselves. There has to actually be identities worth owning and interactions to not be censored. If there is neither, then it is still missing the first principle of social media reason to even be here.

Nostr desperately needs some adoption. Like even a lil lol. I haven't even been able to force myself to be here anymore even though I love the idea so much and think an open protocol for social interaction is so desperately needed. It has been a frustrating and sad reality for me to realize that being here has quite literally been a waste of time and energy, as none of my interests exist here and therefore likewise nobody here is interested in stuff I talk about and do. I won't be paying for primal anymore, it simply makes zero sense to continue doing that at this time. Well, got my negative feelings I've been having for months about this place out I guess...
