It has been declared, and so it shall be!
I want to accept Bitcoin at our upcoming community garage sale, but I'm wondering if having a “Bitcoin accepted here” sign on a table in front of my house makes me more of a target for wrench attacks. Thoughts? #asknostr
Nope. I think the price will whipsaw back and forth in the short term, but in the end it will creep up and to the right.
Yeah, that would make it more worth it. Feels like it only really works as a commuter with occasional light truck use.
Not initially, but there’s apparently space for a second motor up front, so 4x4 could come later.
Jeff Bezos’ fund invested in it, so I doubt it’s uniquely bad on the data front.
What are everyone’s thoughts on the Slate truck, marketed as an “affordable American-made EV”? An electric mini-truck sounds pretty interesting. Is it still “affordable” if it’s actually ~$25k+ and stripped down? Take a look: https://www.slate.auto/ #asknostr
I agree! When I was younger, my father was a teacher. He would build model rockets each year with his 5th-grade science class and launch them from the playground. The whole school would gather to watch each kid launch their creations. They used paper towel tubes for the bodies and aluminum pie pans for the nose cones and fins. Toilet paper for wadding, and shopping bags for parachutes. I was fortunate enough to have a garage full of spare model rocket parts and would launch all kinds of monstrosities from the cornfield behind our house. Even now, my brothers and I, along with my dad, still get together every Father’s Day to launch rockets. This year will be the first with my 1-year-old son joining us. Rockets are awesome!
