About Me

The Word Slinging Wench creates imaginative learning resources for curious students, homeschool families, co-ops, tutors, and creative educators. From weird history, folklore, inventions, and local legends to Gothic horror, haunted houses, monsters, story starters, and guided creative writing, these mini units are designed to help learners explore big ideas through unusual topics, thoughtful questions, vivid details, and meaningful final projects. Created by Judith Riggs, The Word Slinging Wench blends storytelling, research, creativity, and practical printable lessons for students who learn best when curiosity leads the way. Whether students are investigating strange places, building a project, designing an original monster, or crafting an atmospheric story, each resource encourages imagination, critical thinking, and confident creative expression.
