Maby could be a good idea push more wallets to implement BIP-352 silent payment. It should be more private than monero payments. As more people use it, as more difficult it will be to distinguish payments. Currently only available on cake wallet I think.
What kind of data?
Awesome. Amethyst coming to the outbox model 🫵🥳
Whay should it not host a AI? They give you access to a private AI, which will not log your conversations 😉
Welcome to Nostr. Happy to help you when needed. Just type # asknostr and ask whatever question, when you need help.
What would you see as bad practice, and which distros do better? I think Debian is very good for someone that had some weeks working with Ubuntu and wants to go one step mor into independent distros. I mean it is the main distro for many others to upstream bug fixes. So for stability it is absolutely great.

Greate note 🙌
Totally agree 👍
Trust increases productivity while distrust creats redundance.
Thanks for pointing this out. I will repost more. Sometimes I forget to do it.
Ok. I get your paper-Bitcoin now. But to find out if this is probable or not, it is not too wise beliefing in a word tumbler like ChatGPT. Whay should people put trust in institution, that are not reliably trackable on the Blockchain?
Yes clearly local a great addition too. One other thing is also, to understand that every action we take is additional. In the end it is important which actions we take. We should care more about this. See what we do and where we can improve. So many times I see people blaming others for parts they do. But I think eating vegan is not less effective when I drive a Ferrari. It is all just adding up. So better drive a Ferrarri and eat vegan, than also giving up on being vegan while driving Ferrari.
Great to see criticism paired with critical thinking. Great to have people who see the greyscale even in a digital world 😉🥳
#asknostr #critiqueme #improve #wefeeling #communitybuilding I feel #opensource projects get something very well, most analog communities fail at. Open constructive criticism. I think it is very important to receive constructive criticism thankfully. Since what in the world improves my actions, when not constructive criticism? I know so often every kind of critique feels like a personal attack. Since many connect their actions very closely to who they are. But I say, we are not our actions! We are not our body! We are not our ethnicity! We are not our culture! We are conscious beings and can change for good! We are humane and have the best intentions! We commit mistakes, rarely have the best methods, but we want to find them. So let's find them together. Let's help the people around me through open, constructive criticism.
> The topic is not someone having an i, end-of-life device where they want to make it less bad. When you critique LineageOS as a whole you are including the end of life devices. And this is what you did in the first comment. You seem to not care about reputation at all. Show me a comment, where you publicly claim to be wrong or missrepresented.
Am I stupid or are freedom nerds the biggest source of longterm innovation? So when really most freedom nerds come to nostr, may it will become the new source of information. 🥳
I have to clarify one thing. I am attacking your personal actions. I am attacking no team, all my focus of criticism is towards your actions as an individual. Stop falsly claiming "against us". I also am not claiming you not providing any good information. I am only criticising that you consistently fail at understanding offers and that not everyone is requesting the best possible privacy and security. And I will not stop critizising this, since as long as you post as if you would be the face of the project, you desqualify the whole project and this is not fair to all the great developers who work for GrapheneOS. I am explicitly saying the project is great.
https://threecats.com.au/comparison-of-custom-alternative-android-os-roms-grapheneos-divestos-calyxos-iodos-eos-lineageos-stock-android-aosp this is a very well balanced article about the differences of different versions of Android operating systems. It shows very well where GrapheneOS shines and also, what exactly other OS's maby lack. But it gives a lot of nuance and opportunity for any user to decide for him or herself, if a threatlevel applies to them. Probably less than one percent of our population is fearing the threat of someone stealing their phone and hacking it physically (as many people use no pin or a very weak one).
But noone is advertising security. The article is very explicit in helping to avoid Google tracking. So I actually would say this is a fair transparent offer. That Lineage has security concerns can be a good additional information. But it does not take away any of the value of the original offer. Therefore I see comment as agressive and no real support of #grapheneos nor #privacyand #security . It is attacking claims that have not been made. Like when I would say to drink a coffee and then you want me not to drink it because of the bad effects of smoking on my health. Complete misdirected critique.
Look. Graphene OS does security very well. But it is supporting only Pixel phones. Other OS's like lineage are maby really barebone and have the goal to help every smartphoneuser to extend its lifetime. The war you are fighting against ROM's is no help to the privacy space. You need to accept, that different solutions tackle different problems. With all its downs and ups. You paint all in black and white. And through this you always missrepresent reality very badly.
