Contrary to popular believe we as a community can force to return to presegwit ways, ways: * stop relaying large blocks, only validate * strip segwit completely, keep utxo only as its the only thing that matters Both actions will slow big blocks propagations and increase chance of relaying “invalid” as per segwit consensus. It’s funny but you can have a block which is valid under pre segwit but not valid post segwit. All im trying to say is that we dont really need to fork but enforce stricter policies

I think you are right on coordination and history so far, still why did Bitcoin manage to repeat Gold’s history so far? Speed run of 5000 years or more just under a couple of decades. You can 6102 all day long but if you are “big bitcoin” then are pulling the rug under your feet. Physics set you hard boundaries: * Can you send Bitcoin quicker than speed of light? * Can you guess someone’s private key if it’s secured by Entropy? * Can you write the ledger without doing work and expending real world resources? If the answer would be “no” to any of those questions we wouldn’t be chatting here.

Afaik you couldn’t explain until Bitcoin. Once you have fixed supply (monetary aspect), stored and validated data (informational part) and energy conservation via mining and pow (physics) you can link all three.
