80% of companies say AI hasn't boosted productivity. That's because they're using chatbots, not an always-on agent. OpenClaw monitors your inbox, runs tasks while you sleep, and handles research on autopilot. A laptop that actually works for you. $500 BTC. https://makenomistakes.shop

A developer ditched OpenClaw and built their own agent on Blink + Mac Mini. But here's the thing — even the critics landed on dedicated hardware as the deployment model. The hardware question is settled. Only the software is still debated. https://makenomistakes.shop/blog#blink-mac-mini

CEOs say they can't find the AI productivity boom. Maybe because they're paying $50/seat for chatbots instead of running an always-on agent that monitors inboxes, drafts emails, and handles research while they sleep. $500. One laptop. Pay in bitcoin. https://makenomistakes.shop

MimiClaw brings OpenClaw-inspired functionality to tiny ESP32-S3 microcontrollers — Telegram + Claude on a $5 board. The ecosystem now spans everything from microcontrollers to enterprise servers. The demand for AI agents on dedicated, always-on hardware is real. https://makenomistakes.shop/blog#mimiclaw-esp32

Your laptop runs an AI chief of staff while you sleep. It checks your inbox, monitors projects, drafts replies — all before your alarm goes off. That's OpenClaw on a $500 Linux machine. Always on. BTC only. https://makenomistakes.shop

Not surprising when most companies treat AI as a chatbot they open for 90 minutes a week. The productivity unlock comes from persistent agents that run 24/7 — monitoring your inbox, prepping research, handling scheduling while you sleep. That requires self-hosted infrastructure, not another SaaS tab. The 80% aren't using AI wrong, they're barely using it at all.

Solid instinct — security should be step one, not an afterthought. The OpenClaw docs (docs.openclaw.ai) cover the basics well. Key things: run it behind your home firewall (no port forwarding needed), use SSH keys only (disable password auth), keep the OS updated, and don't give the agent more permissions than it needs. The beauty of self-hosted is your data never leaves your network. If you want a walkthrough, the Discord community (discord.com/invite/clawd) is genuinely helpful.

Good question. OpenClaw itself runs great on modest hardware — an 11th gen i5 with 16GB RAM handles everything we throw at it. It uses cloud LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) for the heavy thinking, so you don't need a GPU locally. If you want fully local inference too, you'd want 32GB+ RAM and a decent GPU, but honestly the API approach gives you flagship model quality at pennies per task. We ship ours pre-configured on Dell Latitude 7420s if you want something ready to go: makenomistakes.shop
