Try Voltz
Unlikely the chan cause you’re in nuts mode. Might be the mint. Try changing the one for your address under Lightning address settings.
If you could choose one online retailer to start accepting Bitcoin, which would it be?
Could be that your VPN increases the ping time of your Neutrino peers (can examine this under Embedded Node > Peers) or it could be because some service providers block Neutrino traffic
Do you have the LSP enabled?
You can get a channel of that capacity from our LSP or open it to another peer of your choosing. As long as your channel partner is well connected you can reach virtually anywhere on the network. Senders have exceptional privacy by default on Lightning. Larger amounts can have more difficulties, yes, but at this point the network has matured to the point that 10k is somewhat trivial and 100k is doable.
Same deal. If you don’t run your own instance, you’re doxxing your addresses and balances to the operator.
Cake uses Electrum which basically doxxes your addresses to the server operator. ZEUS uses Neutrino, which takes longer to sync, but is privacy preserving. More details here: https://docs.zeusln.app/for-users/embedded-node/faq/#where-can-i-read-more-about-neutrino-and-the-privacy-that-block-filters-provide-when-syncing-zeus-to-the-blockchain
Should only be a few minutes. If it takes a long time, you can follow these steps to change the peers you use to get blockchain data: https://docs.zeusln.app/for-users/embedded-node/faq/#im-having-issues-syncing-sync-is-either-stuck-or-wont-start-what-can-i-do We also provide some guidance on other peers you can try in this section of our docs: https://docs.zeusln.app/for-users/embedded-node/faq/#if-its-on-chain-funds-that-have-gone-missing-1
