Yep, luxury automotive. I've been to about 10 dealer groups in my career in multiple states, and they are all the same. But it's gotten significantly worse since Covid.

Gm nostr, It's killing my soul to see good people sacrificed at the alter of fiat. I have coworkers coming to work injured, a day after their wife's or relatives funeral (3 this month). Coming in sick, denied bereavement, working 60-70 hours a week (like me) They can't afford basic needs like housing or healthcare, let alone to take a single day off work. All because the corporation won't let profit dip by 20% for a single month. Gotta grow 10% forever and bleed everyone out in the process. Truly heartbreaking.
Gm nostr, Streamlining is corporate speech for Enshitification.
Theory of diminishing returns. When you're young and everything you do is for the first time it's all exciting, but the 100th or 500th time you do something it's not as cool. I'm always moving the goal post in my own mind and desire to do something new or more meaningful. Not that it's a bad thing but I have to remind myself it's ok to chill and be content.
Lmao 🤣
Yes all the time 🤣. I try that method but I'll be like somewhere in between 2 and 2 million and they get stuck on 2 and swear that's all I said.
🤗
Haha love it! The amount of people who try to hold you to a guess they forced you to make is mind blowing.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but predicting the future will always be a guess.
You already have that which you need. By gaining more knowledge you lose the notion that something else was needed. Who here by worry or anxiety can add one second to their life.
Gm nostr, Over the last 5 years I've witnessed and experienced the cultural revolution of bitcoin. What I've seen and felt is when individuals have true ownership of their time and energy, the amount of virtue increases. Integrity, honor, love, excellence, responsibility all increase. The amount of wealth is irrelevant, the common thread is independence, having control, taking responsibility and feeling ownership. Once you own your time you take ownership of everything else under that, family, house, business, community, etc. Honestly everything else in life has taken a back seat to this because it's such a beautiful thing to behold(especially as a student of psychology and philosophy). It's hard to focus on fiat job or anything else since you want to capture the wonder and awe of this transformation in people. On that note I should really get back to work lol, but I had to take a moment to appreciate the magnitude of what is unfolding before us.
Gm nostr, The measure of success is quality, not production. It's quite possible to hustle for the sake of nothing. In fact our culture has not only normalized this, but praises it. It's seen as positive to "be busy" without even thinking about what it is we are being busy with! "If you can lean then you can clean" is the corporate embodiment of this philosophy, who is much to blame for creating this culture, since it's useful to create "obedient workers" While many of us are still trapped in this fiat world, don't internalize it, know that it's wrong, stay humble and stack sats toward freedom, don't lose clarity. If it doesn't improve your quality of life, get rid of it.
Happy birthday!! 🥳💜🫂
Looks amazing!
Highly considering quitting my job to come to this.
