Of cource there are other ways to get apps than just Play store but not for normies. Not sure how many of them would choose non-custodial anyways but this will make sure none. Sad but not surprising.

Just listened this episode and briefly mentioned that verifying signatures for all events is costly but that you could check the signature of a particular event manually by checking the event's raw data from the app. Could the app do the verification for a single event on user demand, i.e. add "Verify event signature" in the event's menu?

Everyone seems to be bullish on vibe coding so I gave it a shot. Most of the LLM's (Claude 4 Sonnet) effort was put to fixing it's own mistakes and bugs. It also claims to have implemented all the features that I asked for but they are not. Basically got back a buggy template for the app that I would need to manually verify and fix and code all the harder parts myself. So it seems to work like the AI chats, seems impressive on the surface but all the details are complete BS.

Many bitcoiners are totally nuts, myself included 😅
