Is it possible to do business on Nostr and leave Linkedin, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram completely? Why don’t we have Linkedin on Nostr? I got 3653 followers on Linkedin and 500+ connections. But Linkedin can cancel me anytime. So those followers and connects look great. But they are not "mine". I don't own anything. And I'm still happy. Jeff Booth says we should give our attention to the Bitcoin world. To open protocols. Because what we give our attention too, grows. So it seems crazy to give my attention to Linkedin. To follow anybody there. To engage in conversations there. So here is what I did: I extracted all my data from Linkedin. And I put it in a local folder. And I started analyzing it. My chats, my posts and my connections and followers. This move already is a first step. Then I did that also on Facebook and Instagram and planning to do that on Youtube. Extract everything and back them up. Next step is: be more here on Nostr. On Primal. Putting content here first and ultimately move completely to Nostr. Here I got my pub key and private key. If I don't like a client I can move. If I want to analyze my content I can do that in python. And nobody can cancel me. The only thing you can do is follow me or unfollow me. But you can not cancel me. It already feels a little more empowering. But I'm telling you honestly. It looks brave. But it also looks a little bit scary. Yes. And I want a merchant interface that can create a nice sales page and not a “shop” with products. My process is a sales page and not a cart. People have to see the offer, click and pay and enter a room to get the experience. If you have wallets of all those coins you accept it should easily plug in and let them pay with whatever wallet you have.

Building websites and shops on Nostr. I have seen some shops on nostr. I think it is called shopstr. But the shops need to be different if you are helping people by providing online training. Imagine you are a digital coach and trainer like me. You want to: - build a following of people who don’t know you - then let them raise their hands and tast a little bit of your product and service (often raise your hands mean they subscribe by providing their name and email) - then you give them a taste of your services (often by sending only the people who subscribed the invitation to the webinar) - you hold a 45 minute webinar - in that webinar you paste a link to your sales page (often outside the webinar software , like a wordpress site) - when they land on that sales page they can pay (in wordpress it is done by plugins as woocommerce). This payment often goes through a payment provider (they process credit cards so you can receive money that goes to your bank account) - after payment your customers get in a private space where they see your videos of your course or program (this is often videos you have unlisted on youtube and share with them). This is the general flow. To get 50 new customers at 1% conversion you need to engage with 5000 new people at the top of your funnel. This system is used by many coaches, trainers and digital content creators. Nostr should be able to do this. We need a way to let people “raise their hands” for a specific content. The content creator - I - need a way to have the dms of all these people who raised their hands for my content. Say if I say AI and Automation is my content I need a way to simply dm all those people, say 5000 people on nostr that are interested in #aiandautomation. So on top of this primal user interface or maybe through python I need to create code that can dm all these people who maybe liked my content, I posted, specifically on this topic. Is that already available? Then I need a way to stream my content with OBS or Ecamm software (I use Ecamm) easily to my Nostr page. I have used Zapstream in the past. But I see I have to keep paying for zapstream to keep my videos up. What if I host my videos myself? How can I ensure my videos stay visible on Nostr? There needs to be a way so I can pull up a server that is up constantly. Next I have the webinars. I should be able to invite all those 5000 people who raised their hands a dm. I don’t need their emails. They only thing I need is sending them some content so they show up. They need to be able to unsubscribe from my content. So Nostr needs a way to send mass content to a list of people. It needs to directly end up in their dms. Is this already available? Then there is a private page on Nostr where I can hold my webinar. Only the people who got invited, because they raised their hands and were subscribed need to see that page. I don’t want to stream to a general page. So the url needs to be hidden. In that webinar on Nostr I would deliver my content about the program. All people clicking on that link to my sales page need to go to a sales page on nostr where they can buy my program. They should be able to zap say 997 usd and get access to the program. If they cannot zap they should be bale to pay with lightning wallets. After payment they get inside a secret room where they see my course say 6 modules during 6 weeks. Each module has more videos. This is private content. Hosted on nostr. During those 6 weeks we have coaching and training calls. There I can share my screen and people can talk. Something like Hivetalk (opensource) but on Nostr. The videos need to be recorded and available for the customers. THIS is a flow that will add value to digital content creators like me. Curaçao has a refinery that needs 0.5 -1 billion usd of investments to upgrade. After watching this episode I tend to conclude that: - the business case of oil refinery on Curaçao is not going to be positive. - oil storage from Venezuela probably is not something feasible as the oil will not be soon drilled in Venezuela. What else can we do with the huge polluted terrain on Curaçao? Is it feasible to put solar power and batteries and mine Bitcoin there? The solar irradiation on Curaçao is high.
