Nostrich, Coracle, Primal (In that order)

The qualitative distinction isn't some convenient fiction or a way of boxing God in. Scripture is clear that the Creator isn't the same kind of being as what He's made. Hes infinite, eternal, and uncreated while we're finite and dependent (Isa 40:25, 46:5, Acts 17:24-25, Rom 11:36). Flattening that into "same clay, different firing" or acting like the gap is something we just step across is how you end up with pantheism, not Christianity. The difference is real. God Himself bridges it in the incarnation and by grace through faith in Christ, not by us somehow becoming the "pointing" or dissolving the categories. Transcendence doesn't make Him distant or small. It's why His coming near in Christ is such good news. The distinction keeps us from remaking Him in our image. It doesn't shrink Him. The shepherd and wolf symbolism also reminds me of the difference between the shepherd’s staff and rod. I believe the staff is used for guiding and rescuing the sheep, while the rod is for defending against the wolves. Wes Huff has a great video on the lost lamb, the prodigal son, and a few others from Scripture: https://youtu.be/IsfYANKSWPo

Reminds me of a book I read on Christian meditation by Joel Beeke. It stressed the importance of not only reading the Word, but taking the time to actually meditate on what we’ve read and apply it to our lives. How many times do we hear a sermon and barely reflect on it during the week? How often do we neglect to feast on the words we read daily, asking ourselves whether these truths apply to us...and if not, why, and how we should confess and take action. If we neglect Christian meditation, making sure we not only read and study but also pray to Christ for His grace and reflect on what we’ve read, we will be as useless as a soldier going to war with a dull sword and no training. We must be always be praying, reading, studying, meditating, and trusting in Christ alone.

Anyone here cross post across platforms? IE: Substack, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Nostr, etc.? Curious if anyone does this successfully and what everyone’s thoughts within the Nostr community are (good or bad).

RC Sproul is the man! Still recall listening to his usb series in my car back in 2019.

I placed one below. youtu.be/gpWo94XXrhU For tailscale alternatives, I believe netbird may be worth checking out: youtu.be/1BQdldvOC7w Pangolin and headscale are others mentioned, though i've never personally used them. Hopefully that helps!
