(Re)#introductions PV #nostr !! My wife and I just landed in #CostaRica a few weeks ago. We’ll be living near in Uvita for the next couple months and participating in the local #circulareconomy here– We’ve both been in/around bitcoin in one way or another for more than 10 years, and our family and businesses are fully on a bitcoin standard for almost a year now. We’re also stoked to get involved with project over the next few months, and are hoping to spend a month or two in Próspera later this year! Back home, we run a not-for-profit organic farm focused on distributing fresh produce for free to our community and local food security orgs. We also sell pure honey and maple syrup for sats at , and run one of the most active routing nodes on the Lightning Network. I have experience setting up and running BTC/LN nodes, self-hosted sites, and instances. Happy to lend a hand to any bitcoin circular economy projects or small businesses looking to start accepting sats or boost their sovereignty. Also have plenty of skills in carpentry, construction, design, landscaping, and sustainable / self-sufficient food systems—definitely not afraid to sweat and put in the PoW! has a background in cultural management and education at a major international culture center. She’s now looking forward to shifting her focus fully to bitcoin and is excited to support conferences, event planning, artist coordination, educational workshops—you name it. Currently on the Norrth west coast but heading down to Dominical / Uvita area next month for a while! Just spoke with some of the Bitcoin District Prospera organizers, and we are really stoked to go check it out. It’s an absolutely prime location and economic/legal environment to build within. They are just getting started but have some really great ideas.

Looking for some place quiet to rest and recover for a while until we decide our next steps. Love nature, small villages, rural locations– not too crazy about cities. Have also considered Ecuador, Bali, Laos, Vietnam, Norway/Sweden… the list goes on. Let the universe decide! Do you have a quiet, private place you could offer us for a few weeks / months? (We are willing to pay in sats!) Do you need a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter / home sitter while you are away for a while? Could you use a couple of hard-working volunteers for an eco project, organic farm or maybe a Bitcoin-based initiative somewhere in the world? I worked as a travel photographer for about 12 years and have visited nearly 100 countries worldwide. My wife previously worked for a large international cultural organization and has a degree in Cultural Management and Education. We currently run a small scale farm ourselves and both have lots of experience tending both gardens and animals. I also have plenty of experience in landscaping, landscape design, and am willing to tackle any repairs, light carpentry, or home maintenance tasks I could help with.
