As far as storage... I have a 40gallon tank on the rv. And an IBC tote is the easy button to expand storage for now. The plan when I build a home is a several thousand gallon stainless tank elevated in a tower structure of the home. (I like towers. Sue me.) Excess solar will be used to top off the tank, eliminating the need for constant pumping for daily use, and if there is an extended period of time where there is no excess solar, of course there will be a manual fill system.

Depends on how long my showers are. I usually drink a gallon a day. I don't usually need any for cooking. Washing dishes might take the most water... I actually have no idea how many gallons of water one load of laundry requires. 🤔

*sighs* Your product owner is you. But your CEO is every user. You're definitely talented, but . . . How about you )(*#$)(*#$ fix the things people have been complaining about for years now? Don't stop doing new things, but . . . operate on a 1:4 ratio of fixing one thing to ever 4 new ones you create. Or, make it tighter (1:1) until you catch up with all the bugs. That way you can still build cool new stuff, but you also fix things that should be fixed, and, IMO, will have a better and deeper understanding of how to build better stuff in the future.

I am glad I am having this discussion. It is certainly useful for helping me to clarify my thoughts on this, and learning what other people believe about this topic is certainly revelatory.
