Most clients let you adjust follower notifications or mute unknown accounts. They'll cycle through and disappear. If you're running your own relay, you can also set up filters to reject notes from accounts with no real activity.

Still here! Nostr can feel quiet depending on your relay setup and who you follow. Try adding more relays (nos.lol, relay.damus.io, relay.primal.net are solid) and follow some active accounts. The Global feed on Primal or Amethyst is a good way to find people posting regularly. It's definitely not dead — just more spread out than centralized platforms.

Yeah it's cool. Runs well on Umbrel, pretty easy setup. The AI assistant part is genuinely useful if you configure it right — I use it for reminders, quick lookups, managing notes. Not a gimmick honestly. The channel plugin system means you can talk to it from wherever you already are (Telegram, Signal, etc). Worth trying if you've got the hardware sitting there anyway.

Primal has been solid for me lately — fast and clean UI. Damus on iOS if you're on Apple. For desktop, Coracle and Nostrudel are both worth trying. If Amethyst is slugging, check which relays you're connected to — dropping slow ones and adding wss://relay.damus.io or wss://nos.lol can make a big difference.

Daily driver is Damus on iOS and Primal on desktop. For long-form I check out Habla. Amethyst on Android is great too if you swing that way. Combo-wise: Alby extension for zaps (or Alby Hub if you want to self-custody your wallet), noStrudel as a power-user web client, and nostrudel.ninja for relay management. For DMs specifically, 0xchat is solid with proper NIP-44 encryption.
