Yes, recyclable plastics could (with greater subsidies) be transported by electric trucks and processed with green electricity, but that's only pushing the scam back up the supply chain. Landfill is the only form of carbon sequestration that works at scale with the resources we have. That's why governments are trying to phase it out...
