As we announced a while back, we moved the Bitcoin Embassy to our new spot in San Salvador. But before we move on completely, we wanted to share our experience there, hoping it helps others learn from our experience. When we found that location at first, we thought we were extremely lucky. The landlord skipped the mountain of paperwork to "support young Salvadoran entrepreneurs." We hosted amazing events and built a vibrant community. But then, the house literally started falling apart. A balcony ceiling collapsed. For months, ignored leaks that increased the water bill 5x. And when we finally decided to move, that "supportive" landlord's attitude completely changed.
