I’m becoming increasingly worried that decentralization in the digital space will never work. Nostr is a great idea but there is a huge spam problem that makes it hard for plebs to run a relay. Mining centralization on Bitcoin is a real thing and a risk to the network. I don’t want to lose hope but all the hacks, attacks, and spam over the past year with AI have made it difficult to imagine stability.
