I need everyone who saw today's #Instagram and #Bluesky incident to understand that #ageVerification and #digitalID legislation like the #EUKidsAct has absolutely nothing to do with child safety. Its purpose is to make sure that THIS RIGHT HERE can happen to YOU. Except instead of banning you from just one platform, the almighty central gatekeeper can ban you from the entire Internet. At will. Whenever it wants. With no warning, recourse, or alternative. #censorship
