Center Core — Pt. 1 Your center core is one of the main muscle groups that helps with balance, protects your spine, and promotes better posture. In Pilates this is known as the “powerhouse.” Muscles targeted: • deep abdominals • pelvic floor, • back stabilizers • diaphragm • glutes/hips Bear and bear variations are a great, safe place to start. If you’re looking for more challenge, try adding props.
