In this system, politicians are merely a symptom. The system can function without politicians (dictatorship). However, the system cannot function without coercion, and coercion cannot function without the funds to pay for it. Let's stop blaming the politicians. Modern states were born thanks to the massive capital loaned for wars. Then kings needed to rise money (taxes) to pay for those loans. That shaped modern states. (In the west). Loans granted by bankers. Massive capital accumulation ends in wars. Some easter civilization have looked for centuries to big capital individuals (that rent from others work) as lower class.
