You are correct...all taxes are theft. And those idiots that say artist add nothing off value are just ... well, idiots or useful idiots like the communists like to call them. Why do we have taxes, it is not like before taxes the world did not function, it is not like the services are that great or costs that much while spending money outside of the country to line ones pockets.
