US Bitcoin ETFs just pulled in roughly $217 million in a single day. And around $206 million of it went into BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF. About 95% of the entire day’s Bitcoin ETF inflows. Now sit with the irony of that for a second. BlackRock. One of the largest asset managers on Earth. Helping put Bitcoin directly in front of the very people who probably would never have bought Bitcoin themselves. And I actually think that’s amazing. Not because Bitcoin needs BlackRock. It doesn’t. That’s the entire fucking point. But because BlackRock gives Bitcoin familiarity. It puts Bitcoin inside the financial language that millions of ordinary people already understand. ETF. Portfolio. Retirement. Asset allocation. Institutional investment. Safe little boxes inside the existing system. And maybe that’s how the orange pill gets through the door. Because someone buys the ETF. Then they start watching Bitcoin. Then they get curious. Why 21 million? Why proof of work? Why does Bitcoin need miners? Why can nobody just print more? Why does self custody matter? Why was Bitcoin created in the first place? And suddenly they aren’t researching an investment anymore. They’re researching money. Then energy. Then power. Then sovereignty.
