Why would a self-custodial exchange NOT work? Where you’d set a buy order of bitcoin and have it sent directly to a wallet address (on-chain or lightning) as part of the order fill out / buying process. There just wouldn’t be an option to buy without it being sent to an address. The exchange is just a middle link for OTC desks and maybe other exchanges. #asknostr
