This year has been a wake up call on how much I get done and I still undermine and doubt of myself but it’s time to be happy, celebrate the wins, and keep working on my craft.
With so many song notifications of their anniversaries I’m starting to see my results and how hard I have been going on myself, no wonder sometimes my mind and my body really forces me to rest.
Everyday I wake up, I read my why and the fire starts me up again.
I used to think living my country to have a shot in living my dreams that there wouldn’t be way back, and today I more than ever is the time I double on my productivity
No life without music, emotion into motion, music is the only option, I will leave no regrets and no words unsaid
Today marks the making of ‘My Gosh’ the first song ever playlisted on a major “New Music Fridays Portugal” playlist on Spotify putting us on the map in my home town 2 years ago.

The satisfaction of listening people singing my lyrics back is so powerful, but the magic lies on the words we sing back to each other. In the video you will hear the song Warriors, and the people singing back at the end, they took over my performance, they took the warrior energies I was sending because they needed it, they embraced it, they believed in those words, and they sent them straight back to me when I was about to feel so drained, all in a matter of 3 minutes and you can see it there.
Mental health is still a taboo in so many places we don’t even care to imagine.
At a very low point of my life I was forced by nature of events to study neuroscience, the anatomy of our body and vocals, and I’ve then completed my studies in music, and not many people actually know what that entails.
One of my jobs is being a therapist to the world, and sometimes I don’t even know how to deal with my own, so I get that song that I wrote 5 years ago on hearphones, and I’m not afraid to say that I cry against the pillow with every word I sing, completely detached of the singer but the message.
What I want to say is that sometimes you just have to feel the feel, let it all out and start fresh, even if it’s half way through the day!
Today I’m deliberating in progression into Masters and potentially Doctorate because as much as I love the stage, my job to connect, and put into words what you probably cannot is not done and I need to learn more to give more.
The work I did with in Scotland was vastly with stage performance but I have invested a big amount of time in Body Movement Vs Mindset and its impact in youth in general but also youth in the spectrum of physical and social development/interaction.
As I matured into adulthood I now onow how hugely influenced I was with being a dancer all my life, and how drastically different my mindset/life would have developed without it.
As I have hope for our youth, our adulthood should not be neglected and Independently of who you are, and how old you are, you are not alone.
OVER/EXPOSED
A project that took 7 months of intense work, getting to know one another, unmasking, and stripping down layers to get to the point where we could share our cracks nakedly to you.
Our main goal ?
Showing that it is okay to be broken, we can be broken together,
it’s okay to share what we think being too heavy or that no one is there to listen, we are here to listen and to say that we can be beautifully glued together like your favourite mug of coffee that you refuse to bin it,
that’s a reflection of all of us, some just pretend too well.
Saying I’m fine became norm, and I’m here to break it if not honest!
We decided to over expose half of what we go through,
half of what we deal and hide,
half of the things we had to heal from, and we did it in public so we don’t have to pretend or say I’m okay when not.
Spit it out and let the healing commence.
Let our message be the traveler that hugs who may need,
and remember
everyone has a different starting point.
And be aware what you’re favourite songs are saying to you because they are shaping your brain during the day!
