I'm in escrow right now and popular Costa Rican escrow company Geldstuck is telling me "Once an account contains cryptocurrency-related investments, we are unable to isolate and independently validate that the specific funds are unrelated to those investments." So if someone has an brokerage account with perfectly KYCable funds, and they buy a bitcoin ETF or transfer to/from a crypto exchange with any portion of that account, that entire account is now blacklisted from entering Costa Rica 🤡 cc 🤷‍♂️
