nostr.blue 0.8.21 is now live on the web and zapstore! The headline feature is a new DeFlock map: a full-screen, interactive map of license plate reader (ALPR) cameras built on worldwide OpenStreetMap data. Zoom in and each camera shows a direction cone indicating which way it's pointing. You can filter by operator and zone, search by name, and get route directions to any camera. Areas you view are cached for offline use, so pulling them back up later is instant. It stays smooth even with tens of thousands of cameras on screen. You can now import an existing PPQ Credit ID into AI chat — your API key is reused or created automatically and validated on the spot. Mostro P2P trading has been upgraded to the latest chat protocol, with trader reputation and more reliable trade restore after restarts. Login is significantly faster: relay lists are now restored from disk at boot instead of waiting on the network, eliminating a race condition that could delay or break feed loading. Sidebar, settings, and reaction preferences also apply within seconds of signing in instead of being missed on slow connections. Threads now open at the top and restore your exact reading position when you hit Back. Pinboards get improved NIP compliance with derived pin IDs, media pin types, and Unicode-safe titles. Profile metadata now uses newest-wins caching with outbox fallback, so profiles look fresher with fewer network requests and refresh in the background at most once a day per person instead of on every visit. Plus: embedded comment and repost cards are now clickable, PWA updates always load the latest build instead of stale cached assets, audio plays on the first tap on Android, Mostro messages are labeled "Mostro Sync" in the publish queue instead of appearing as failed DMs, custom search and favorite relay lists survive offline starts, and a crash that could force-close the app on relay reconnect has been fixed.
